Ok, so a few months ago I tried the blueprint cleanse which was AMAZING. Mind you, I love to eat and eat and eat, but even for someone like me (that loves to eat) I often crave just those damn juices! They filled me with so much energy and I felt so good. It was my first attempt at the whole juicing business to be honest since all I know how to make are smoothies and it changed me a bit. I now at times go to whole foods and walk right by the pizza making stand and grab one for lunch (my mother would hate the sound of this since she believes rice is necessary to live). Now, I don’t know about you but buying cold press juices gets freaking expensive so, for some short time now I own a juicer. Btw, best investment I’ve made this year. Of course all my juices taste great but not as amazing as the blueprint ones: soooooo, I simply read what the bottle contained bought it all, tweaked it little, and attempted to calculate how much of everything it contained and voila! Close enough.
My favorite one to almost do daily is the Green one. It’s a great coffee replacement, a legit energy drink, and it taste delicious. If you haven’t juiced before you may disagree with me but for those who appreciate juicing you will love it!
So what i do for myself is include all of the following and add a tbs of apple-cider vinegar for a kick. Oh! And I’ve tried juicing my lime and it’s messed up my blade a couple times so now I just squeeze it into the juice, duh.
1/4 Bunch of Kale
1/4 Bunch of Spinach or Broccoli Rabe
1/4 Bunch of Parsley
2 Stalks of Celery
2 Green Apples
1 tsp size Ginger Root
1 tbs apple-cider vinegar
Don’t get misguided by the picture above I took this when I made two servings so I could share with my parents but they got upset with me bc they much rather have a Peruvian breakfast and think that I’m starving myself when I juice 😦
